GÉANT Infoshare Management and monitoring of time & frequency services

Time and frequency network services are becoming increasingly common in research networks. The ability to provide these services with the same level of quality as IP services is an operational issue for NRENs.

This GÉANT Infoshare proposes to go through the different types of T&F services (Optical carrier transfer, Radio frequency modulation, White Rabbit) and broach the aspect of the management and monitoring them. The experience of NRENs that put in production these services will be presented with experts' feedback on these technologies.
