The GÉANT Task Force for Educational Activities (TF-EDU) would like to invite you to our autumn workshop focussing on both strategic opportunities and challenges, and sharing knowledge and best practice on practical issues related to the delivery of education, both nationally and globally.

Agenda

The workshop will help TF-EDU to get a picture of the situation post pandemic, and where we are heading. We start with sharing the strategic directions for the task force on education and the results of a case study that was conducted by the Swedish network IT in Higher Education (ITHU) on how the pandemic acted as a catalyst for transformation of digitalization of education. Among the results from the survey, we find that the teachers' most important pedagogical opportunities in the transition to distance education are development of technology usage, that more people realise that technologies can support pedagogy, the development of teaching, and a higher degree of flexibility for students. More findings will be presented in the meeting.

During the workshop, you will hear from different NREN’s about their experiences and visions for the future related to the educational services. Furthermore we will discuss the roadmap of the task force and the vision regarding student mobility and eduID.
