Description

With emerging new sensing technologies and available products, it becomes easier to use the optical fiber communication network as a sensing network. There are several methods to enable sensing over our existing fiber infrastructure.

In this Infoshare we are focusing on backscattering based on Raman, Brillouin and Reyleigh scattering effects. We have invited a few Distributed Sensing Interrogator vendors to present their solutions, the technical concept behind the equipment, and the typical use case it has been used for. They will also describe the analyzing tools and the methods used to interpret the events.

The event will be recorded.
