By registering for this event, you have read and accepted our Privacy Notice GÉANT takes your privacy at our events very seriously. All participants should read the GÉANT Privacy Notice, which includes how your photography and audio/video recording at the event will be processed (Chapter: "How GÉANT collects and processes your personal data").

As part of the GÉANT Gender Equality Plan (GEP) we are creating statistics related to gender of participants in order to ensure GEP. Each participant is free to decide whether they wish to provide such information or choose the ‘prefer not to say’ option or not to reply to this question at all as this is not obligatory for the event registration. Whichever option the individual chooses, it will not have any impact on their registration for the event. The legal basis for processing this information is GÉANT’s legitimate interest which consists in monitoring numbers in relation to gender as part of our events registration process so as to take further steps to ensure Gender Equality if appropriate. Such processing does not harm the risks and rights of candidates and additionally a data protection impact assessment has been undertaken. The aggregated data will be stored for 12 months.
