Call for Proposals

The call for proposals will open on 1st December 2024.

We welcome three types of submission:

  • single presentations (20 minutes plus discussion). These presentations will be group topically and you will be asked by your chair to prepare for and participate in questions and discussions as part of your session.
  • lightning talks (5 minutes). Lightning talks are a rapid-fire approach to introducing a thought, idea or call for action. They will take place back to back and there is no Q&A, but there will be plenty of opportunities to network with participants after your presentation.
  • panel presentations  (90 minutes).  This moderated discussion can include up to 4 panelists.  We ask that all panel proposals are fully scoped out and have speakers identified at submission.

All submissions must be written in English and all presentations must be given in English.

GÉANT Security Days does not support any remote contributions as the conference is a networking in-person event. If in-person participation is not possible for you, please reach out to the event organisers before submitting your proposal.

NOTE As part of your submission, we ask you to give us your name and email address. We collect this personal data so that we can inform you of the outcome of the marking process. Please see the GÉANT Privacy Policy for further information about how we collect and process personal data and your rights regarding that process.
