Description
Skills around e-Infrastructures, data management and data science are becoming increasingly important given the current need for FAIRification of data and the technology trends on Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics. Data Stewardship curricula have been defined and supported in the recent and upcoming EC calls. The role of Data Stewards is becoming more critical and urgent. In parallel, AI is a major trend in e-Infrastructures, along with the need for data analytics and management, where related skills are also indispensable. It will be of paramount importance that these curricula consider skills in these areas, not only in Europe, but also beyond, and a new flock of data stewards is born.
