Description
e-Infrastructures are a key asset to foster European and international collaboration, especially servicing thematic Research Infrastructures. Action 8 of the ERA Policy Agenda calls for “Increased cooperation between Research Infrastructures, e-infrastructures and related stakeholders, including through EOSC”. With the development of Data Spaces, the new organisational model of European Digital Infrastructure Consortium (EDIC) has arisen. It is important to understand how EDICs and ERICs can synergetically foster the sustainability of RIs/e-Infrastructures. Funding and sustainability of e-Infrastructures is vital in the next period and in particular for the Research Infrastructures Work Programme.
