Workshop: procurement collaboration in the GÉANT community

GÉANT is pleased to present the first workshop dedicated to procurement practices within the NRENs!

Procurement professionals in the research and education community face similar situations and challenges due to the unique structures that they support.Complex purchasing processes, compliance with different levels of legislation and supplier management are all parameters that all NRENs need to address in order to conduct their procurement activities. 

In this respect, GÉANT would like to give these institutions the opportunity to reflect on the procurement experience within the community; the best practices, the difficulties, in order to understand how NRENs could work together to maximise the effectiveness of their procurement strategy.

The workshop will take the form of a joint presentation by GÉANT and SURF, followed by a discussion with the participants.
