 nsing network. There are several methods to enable sensing over our existi
 ng infrastructure.\nIn a similar event in November 2025 we had the opportu
 nity to discuss the backscattering based sensing technologies and later in
  February 2026 we explored the state of polarization based sensing on opti
 cal fibre.\nDuring this infoshare\, we will focus on emerging sensing and 
 monitoring technologies which distinguish from the state of polarization a
