Description

With emerging new sensing technologies and available products, it becomes easier to use the optical fibre communication network as a sensing network. There are several methods to enable sensing over our existing infrastructure.

In a similar event in November 2025 we had the opportunity to discuss the backscattering based sensing technologies and later in February 2026 we explored the state of polarization based sensing on optical fibre.

During this infoshare, we will focus on emerging sensing and monitoring technologies which distinguish from the state of polarization and backscattering based sensing.

The event will be recorded.
