DESCRIPTION:Assertiveness is the balance between confidence and respect 
 — the ability to express thoughts\, needs\, and boundaries clearly while
  valuing others’ perspectives.\nThis workshop is designed to help GN52 P
 roject team members find their voice in professional situations\, communic
 ate with clarity and empathy\, and handle challenging conversations using 
 practical techniques such as the P.A.C.E. model (Probe\, Alert\, Challenge
 \, Emergency).\nDue to limited places this course is only available to GN5
 -2 Project members. If you are interested in attending future workshops\, 
 please register interest at GLAD@geant.org\nLearning objectives\nBy the en
 d of this workshop\, participants will be able to:\n•Understand the core
  principles of assertive communication and how it differs from passive or 
 aggressive styles.\n•Use the P.A.C.E. framework to navigate conversation
 s that require increasing levels of assertiveness.\n•Communicate clearly
 \, confidently\, and respectfully in professional settings.\n•Apply asse
 rtive techniques to real-life scenarios\, balancing empathy with directnes
 s.\n•Strengthen self-confidence and composure when giving feedback\, set
 ting boundaries\, or addressing sensitive issues.\n=====\nEligible partici
 pants may claim their time from the GN5-2 Project to attend this workshop.
