GÉANT Infoshare - eduVPN : Update

eduVPN : Update Infoshare : Wednesday 21st October at 14:00 CEST

As people were sent home in the Spring of 2020, many universities and research institutions experienced issues with their VPN solutions. They suffered from license restrictions and the need to scale up to serve multiple concurrent users. With the support of their NRENs, a number of universities started deploying eduVPN to replace their corporate VPN solutions. In parallel, the eduVPN team has worked on a new design for the eduVPN client apps to make them more intuitive and easier to use. These apps which will be launched in the Autumn of 2020. 

This infoshare will focus on 3 aspects of eduVPN:

1. How eduVPN can be used for institute access (access to private resources)  
2. How NRENs have supported the deployment of eduVPN at universities during the COVID19 pandemic
3. The new apps being launched shortly.

All those interested in eduVPN, technical and non-technical, are welcome to join. Service experts will be present to answer any questions you may have.
