Description

Join us for the first SIG-Quantum online meeting!

This inaugural session will introduce the goals and scope of SIG-Quantum, provide an overview of current initiatives in quantum communication and networking, and create space for participants to share their interests and ideas.

It is open to all interested participants and will set the foundation for future discussions and collaborations within the group.

You can find the agenda of the meeting here: https://wiki.geant.org/spaces/SIGQ/pages/1188757708/SIG-Quantum+online+meeting

SIG-Quantum aims at providing a forum for the community working around quantum technologies, including quantum networking, computing, sensing, cryptography and communication across Research and Education Networks. It will gather and exchange experiences, ideas and knowledge on the development, deployment, testing and standardisation of quantum solutions, leading to the development of a coherent quantum strategy across GEANT and the evaluation and testing of suitable quantum technologies. The SIG will have an advisory role to GEANT GPPC and relevant project management/coordination function.
