DESCRIPTION:The OpenAIRE Graph is a free and open resource that brings tog
ether and interlinks hundreds of millions of metadata records from over 10
0k data sources trusted by researchers. The project broke ground in 2012\,
being one of the first research knowledge graphs and has now grown into o
ne of the world's largest and into the authoritative source for the Europe
an Open Science Cloud (EOSC). Here\, researchers\, communities\, instituti
ons\, companies\, and citizens thrive by freely sharing research products
and related information. This session will be led by OpenAIRE's senior enga
gement officer Stefania Amodeo and by OpenAIRE's CTO Paolo Manghi. It will
include time for discussion on the OpenAIRE Graph API and its potential v
alue to NRENs and their communities. The session will also feature special
guests Alen Novosel\, development lead and data analyst\, and Dominik Milo
šević\, fullstack developer from the University of Zagreb Computing Cent
re (SRCE). They will showcase implementation examples and share insights o
n how they use the Graph API to retrieve research outputs from ten univers
ities participating in the UNIC European University alliance for display i
n the UNIC Virtual Campus.About the speakers Stefania AmodeoStefania Amod
eo is an Engagement & Training Officer at OpenAIRE. She is a researcher wi
th academic experience\, and she has a Ph.D. in Astronomy and Astrophysics
from the Paris Observatory. She has worked as a postdoctoral researcher a
t Cornell University and the Observatory of Strasbourg\, specialising in a
stronomical data science and open science. Her role in OpenAIRE is to imple
ment engagement and training activities for the research community. Her wo
rk involves identifying communities' needs and developing cohesive activit
ies that offer solutions through OpenAIRE services\, while also improving
OpenAIRE services through the addition of new features\, data\, and method
ologies.Paolo ManghiPaolo is a senior researcher in computer science at th
e Istituto di Scienza e Tecnologie dell'Informazione (ISTI) of the Consigl
io Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR) in Pisa\, Italy. Since January 2009\, Pa
olo has been serving as the Chief Technology Officer at OpenAIRE AMKE. In
this capacity\, he plays a critical role in vision-making\, technical road
mapping\, and coordinating the OpenAIRE portfolio of Open Science services
\, above all the OpenAIRE Graph. He also ensures these services are integr
ated\, aligned\, and capable of collaborating with global scholarly commun
ication service providers\, European research infrastructures and einfratr
uctures\, and the European Open Science Cloud. As part of these activities
\, he has played a coordination role in several H2020 projects\, including
  OSTrails\, FAIRCORE4EOSC\, EOSC-Beyond\, EOSC-Future\, EOSC-Enhance\, Ope
 nAIRE-Nexus\, OpenAIRE-Connect\, OpenAIRE-Advance\, OpenAIRE2020\, and Ope
nAIREplus.Paolo’s work is instrumental in promoting collaborative resear
ch and advancing open science globally. His research interests focus on re
search and scholarly communication infrastructures\, with an emphasis on s
cholarly knowledge graphs and technologies that facilitate open science pu
blishing across various disciplines.Alen NovoselAlen Novosel holds Master
’s degree in informational sciences and has more than seven years of exp
erience developing\, maintaining and providing support to users of nationa
l systems within higher education. He works as a development lead at SRCE\
, where his primary responsibility is building and implementing the UNIC V
irtual Campus with his team. Alen also works as a data analyst and perform
s many complex tasks related to data warehouses in the field of higher edu
cation and research in Croatia.Dominik MiloševićDominik Milošević hold
s Master's degree in information and communication technologies and has mo
re than three years of experience developing\, maintaining and providing s
upport to users of national systems within higher education. He works as a
fullstack developer at SRCE\, where his primary responsibility is buildin
g\, implementing and maintaining various systems like UNIC\, ISeVO and ISP
