Following the recent SonarQube infoshare, we are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to learn how to use the code analysis tool SonarQube with the experts!

What is it?

An interactive workshop with practical exercises to learn about: 

-  The capabilities of the  SonarQube code analysis tool and how to use it in your projects.

- Understanding the theoretical fundamentals of code analysis and best practices for using SonarQube 

- Extensions and tools that enhance SonarQube's functionality

Topics include:

  • Introduction to Sonar's Methodology
  • Introduction to static and dynamic code anaylisis and SonarQube production
  • Project Quality Management
    • Understanding Quality Gates & Quality Profiles 
  • Software Quality Metrics, dynamic code analysis 
  • Administration and Security
  • SonarQube best Practices

 

Who is it for?

The training is for developers, administrators, and managers interested in using the SonarQube code analysis system. (GN5.1 Project contributors only)

Eligible participants (GN5.1 Project contributors) can claim manpower to attend the workshop, information on how to claim can be found here.  Participants should always allocate time and costs to the WP they are working on.

This event is remote and a joining link will be sent to registered participants closer to the event date.

Technical requirements:

- Ability to use Windows or Linux operating system.

- Familiarity with the Eclipse or IntelliJ Idea environments
